3. Booking & getting started
Booking the company address is straightforward and takes only a few steps.
First, create the contract online under “Order” and send it to us signed, together with a copy of your ID. Then transfer the agreed amount.
We check your documents and get back to you promptly. Once your payment has arrived, you receive the countersigned contract and your invoice. From your chosen start date, you can use the business address and receive mail.
If you prefer, you can also complete the contract in person on site by appointment.
During business hours, the business address in Munich can usually be set up on the same working day (within an hour if it is very urgent).
As soon as we have the signed contract with a copy of your ID and the first payment has arrived, your order is processed and the contract countersigned. The mailbox label is prepared as well.
Use of the business address begins on your chosen start date. From then on you can receive mail and take further steps such as trade registration, the commercial register entry or notary appointments.
We only need a few documents to conclude the contract.
Required are:
- the signed contract
- a copy of your ID (front and back)
- The agreed payment is also required for the contract to take effect.
We strongly recommend signing the rental contract before founding the company (e.g. before the notary appointment or trade registration).
Otherwise you would have to change the address with the notary afterwards and have it notarised again, which causes extra costs.
You can simply add “i. G.” (in Gründung, meaning in formation) after your company name in the rental contract (e.g. Musterfirma GmbH i. G.).
4. Contract & payment
We offer both fixed-term and open-ended contracts, so long-term use is no problem.
With a fixed-term contract, the rental runs for 3, 6 or 12 months and ends automatically without notice. You can then extend it for the same term.
With an open-ended contract, the notice period is 3 months. After a minimum term of 12 months you can end the contract flexibly.
Prices are identical for both options. The differences lie mainly in the range of services:
With an open-ended contract you have extra options such as your own mailbox with 24/7 access, a Munich phone number, a company sign with logo and flexible changes during the term. Monthly payment by SEPA direct debit is also possible.
Payment is made by bank transfer. Cash payments are not possible.
With a fixed-term contract, the full amount is paid in advance. No deposit is charged.
With an open-ended contract, a deposit of three months' rent and the first month's rent are due at the start by bank transfer. After that, the rent is collected monthly by SEPA direct debit. The deposit serves as security for the agreed services and is usually offset against the three-month notice period when the contract ends.
Yes, that is no problem.
The first payment can also be made from your private account by bank transfer. Cash payments are not possible.
This payment can be treated as a private advance payment during the founding process and repaid to you once the business account has been set up. Your accountant or tax adviser will know how to handle such founding costs.
